Breakfast Restaurants in Sarnia-Lambton

Sarnia Living's dedicated to finding business owners that provide the local community with a great product or service. We research and reach out to restaurants that have a great reputation and above average leadership.

Below you will find the best breakfast restaurants in Sarnia-Lambton County.

John's Restaurant

John's Restaurant has grown to become one of Sarnia's most beloved restaurants. They are open seven days a week and serve a variety of dishes for any meal of the day. Of course, they are most well known for their delicious breakfast menu that features some of the best Canadian Peameal bacon in the country. And if you're not interested in breakfast, then you can enjoy an assortment of soups, salads, and Greek-inspired entrees.

If you're hosting an event or gathering then you are encouraged to use the Famous Room. It is used to host business meetings, birthdays, and bridal showers throughout the year.

B&B Taps & Grill

The variety of food available at B&B Taps and Grill is what sets it apart from Sarnia restaurants with a similar atmosphere. You can visit this place every day for a month and always try something new. That also means it's safe to bring your friends who might otherwise be picky eaters. The obvious staples are the chicken, the sandwiches, and any entree that includes seafood.

No matter what breakfast dish you pick it's important that you have it alongside their famous coffee. While there, take note of the friendly staff, the pleasant music, and the surprisingly affordable bill.

Cromwell Grill

Comfort food means something a little different to each of us. Even so, we can all find something to comfort us at the Cromwell Grill. They have a separate menu for breakfast and dinner, with each menu highlighting local, fresh ingredients. At dinner, you can enjoy their Greek salads, roast turkey, or traditional Greek gyros. Breakfast is guaranteed to include a dish or two that you haven't tried in a long time.

If you're a fan of traditional Greek cuisine with fresh Canadian ingredients, then you're going to love Cromwell. Everyone loves the place; whether it's the hardworking contractor on his lunch break or the entrepreneur dressed to impress with a client.

Alternate Grounds Dockside

Enjoying a meal can be a very visual experience. That's why a good view can almost always improve an already good meal. That's exactly what you get when you decide to sit down for breakfast at the Alternate Grounds Dockside. You're so captivated with the view that you forget to look at the menu. When you do decide to look, the menu will simply blow you away with its original dishes.

It's one of the few places you can enjoy a Huge Burger and then wash it down with a chocolate martini while gazing at the St. Clair River. What's not to love?

Nick's Family Restaurant

Having a family restaurant doesn't automatically mean the food is going to be original, authentic, and delicious. It just happens that Nick's Family Restaurant fits that description. Nick has been serving food in Sarnia for the last 25 years and when we say “serve” we mean he is actually there working in the restaurant.

Nick's Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but what's special about their menu is that breakfast is available all day long. And on the weekends you can enjoy an impressive brunch buffet. Some of his non-breakfast specialties include BBQ ribs and fish and chips.

Ole Country Diner

Country diners are becoming less and less common throughout the country. That's not necessarily a bad thing because it means only the best are surviving. The Ole Country Diner in Sarnia is undoubtedly among the best. All of the food is spectacular, but their breakfast items really steal the spotlight. Whether it's a breakfast boat or a plate of eggs Benedict; if you love breakfast then you'll love their menu.

Stepping into the lunch hours you can enjoy a variety of soups, sandwiches, burgers, and even some lasagna. Finally, since it's a country diner, you know you'll be enjoying a relaxed and casual atmosphere with friendly staff and satisfied customers.

Sunset Grill

There are dozens of restaurants in the area with “Grill” in the name, but few are as well known and loved as the Sunset Grill. They rose to fame during 1985 when their doors first opened to the Toronto beaches. From day one, they were devoted to only using the freshest ingredients in all of their meals.

They have stuck with that dedication to freshness for more than 30 years. Meanwhile, they've expanded their workforce to avoid any more waiting in lines while you're hungry. Today, at the Sunset Grill, you'll be able to enjoy a fast, fresh meal at any time of the day.

Selina's South East Cafe

If you're hoping for something delicious and affordable that hits the spot without the need to dress up or make a reservation. That's exactly what Selina's South East Cafe is for. You're able to enjoy a unique meal at any time of the day in a casual environment and surrounded by friendly staff. Selina's combines traditional Canadian and Greek foods in a lot of their menu items, but their curiosity doesn't stop there.

Their pad thai and spring rolls are among the best around. A quick look at the décor might lead you to believe this is an expensive restaurant, but you would be mistaken.

Starlight Casino Point Edward

Modern restaurants struggle to compete with the many classic establishments that already exist around Sarnia. Starlight is one of the few modern pubs that made a name for itself and solidified its future thanks to its impressive menu. It has become extremely popular for social gatherings, parties, events, and sports games.

If ever there is a big game on television you can expect there to be a big crowd at Starlight. But what everyone doesn't know is that you can enjoy a delicious breakfast the day after.
